To celebrate people, communities, and small businesses impacted by economic inequities . . . the Black Parade Route continues.We are proud to announce the next phase as the Black Parade Route continues and journeys to various cities to support entrepreneurs through highly anticipated Black Parade Route luncheons.

The goal is to celebrate small business owners with relief grant opportunities and valued business support services offered by global partners to aid in business sustainability.

Amber Grant for Women

GrantWomensNet founded the Amber Grant Foundation in 1998. The Foundation was set up with one goal in mind: to honor the memory of a very special young woman, Amber Wigdahl, who died at just 19 years old — before realizing her business dreams.  Today, WomensNet carries on that tradition, giving away at least $10,000 every month in Amber Grant money. We've also expanded our grant-giving to include other grants such as our Annual $25,000 Amber Grant.

Cartier Women’s Initiative

New Voices Fund

InvestorStarted in 2018, New Voices Foundation is delivering on its promise to help women of color business owners build, grow and scale their businesses and create a more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.  We provide them with unprecedented access, capital, and expertise via Pitch Competitions; Mobile Accelerators; Coaching and Mentorship for pitch winners and others in the New Voices community; Online Learning and Skills Development Opportunities; and Ongoing Communications Outreach via social media, newsletters and other channels.

SoGal Black Founder Startup Grant

GrantSoGal Foundation has teamed up with Winky Lux, bluemercury, twelveNYC, Twilio, and other sponsors to make a small step towards progress by providing several $10K and $5K cash grants to Black women or nonbinary entrepreneurs.

WOMEN OF COLOR GRANT PROGRAM

  • Business must be at least 51% woman of color-owned
  • For-profit business
  • One to five years in business preferred
  • Formed under United States law and operating in the United States
  • Revenue generating (Minimum annual revenue of $100,000 strongly preferred)

GrantHelping to close the funding gap by backing women-led FemTech and HealthTech startups globally that are driving the future of healthcare.


STACY’S RISE PROJECT

Since 2017, Stacy’s has provided funding, resources, and mentorship to thousands of women entrepreneurs, including entrepreneurs of color. Together with Hello Alice, a company that helps small businesses thrive, and Hello Sunshine, a media company founded by Reese Witherspoon, Stacy’s is currently offering $15,000 in business grants to women founders in the packaged food and beverage space.

In addition to a cash prize, each winner will receive mentorship from a PepsiCo executive, visibility on Stacy’s platform and those of its partners, and access to a peer network with other women entrepreneurs. To be eligible, you must:

  • Identify as a woman entrepreneur or a woman entrepreneur of color.
  • Be the leading executive (founder or co-founder) of the business.
  • Operate a for-profit, U.S.-based business selling consumer packaged goods.
  • Must have $25,000 to $1 million in annualized sales.
  • Must be at least 50% woman-founded or currently 50% woman-owned.


THE POWER FORWARD SMALL BUSINESS GRANT

The Power Forward Small Business Grant is a combined commitment of $1 million from Vistaprint, the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, and NAACP. The $25,000 grants are awarded on a rolling basis to Black-owned small businesses across New England. Recipients will have opportunities to be featured on national co-branded platforms and receive marketing and design resources customized to their specific needs.

To qualify, you must be a Black-owned business with a maximum of 25 employees and be based and operating in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, or select areas of Connecticut.


ENRICHHER SMALL BUSINESS GRANT

EnrichHER provides grants of $5,000 to entrepreneurs who are women or people of color. The company itself is a Black woman-owned FinTech lender, and has so far given out $14 million in capital to minority-owned businesses from 47 U.S. states. The cash can be used for anything from rebranding your company to developing a new product or service.


GALAXY OF STARS GRANT

Galaxy of Stars is a community for minority and women entrepreneurs. It’s a great source of networking opportunities, and it gives business owners a space to support one another in reaching their business goals. The organization’s $2,750 Galaxy Grant is open to ethnic minorities and women who currently own their business or plan to start one. As a testament to the Galaxy of Stars’s emphasis on mutual support, they have an added perk for referrals: if you refer a friend to the grant and they win, the grant amount is doubled, and both applicants get a cash prize.

Educational Training CoursesThe courses in this category are designed to uncover the various challenges that evidence suggests women in business are likely to face that are different (in kind or in scale) than those faced by men in business. These courses will seek to prepare learners to either start a career or to advance a career, by naming some of the systematic obstacles they might face, such as explicit discrimination, implicit bias, glass ceilings, assumptions about familial responsibilities, and share strategies for addressing those challenges.
