Michelle Yeoh wins her first Golden Globe Award after being in hollywood for 40 years. Michelle Yeoh has made history by becoming the first Malaysian to win a Golden Globe Award. Earlier today on 10 January 2023 at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical in the movie, Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022). At the time of writing, the Golden Globe awards is still ongoing.

She won in the category against her other fellow nominees, including Lesley Manville in Mrs Harris Goes to Paris (2022), Margot Robbie in Babylon (2022), Anya Taylor-Joy in The Menu (2022), and Emma Thompson in Good Luck to You, Leo Grande (2022).
